Lasairfhíona has extensive experience in professional indemnity litigation and commercial litigation.
Lasairfhíona specialises in the defence of professional negligence proceedings primarily against construction professionals including consulting engineers, architects and surveyors.
Lasairfhíona also represents solicitors and their professional indemnity insurers and has advised in respect of claims against insurance brokers and medical professionals.
She regularly advises on coverage matters, in particular solicitors’ insurers on the Minimum Terms and Conditions.
She has experience in alternative dispute resolution procedures and has acted in Commercial Court proceedings and mediations arising from Commercial Court claims.
Lasairfhíona spent a period on secondment in a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy where she advised on various commercial and non-contentious matters including drafting and review of Appointments and contract documents.
Lasairfhíona is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and the Commercial Litigation Association of Ireland. Lasairfhíona is also admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.
