Jamie is the Claims Manager in our Bristol office and a member The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Before joining Beale & Co in 2014 Jamie gained a broad range of experience in claims handling within the Bristol insurance market. He has worked for Insurers and Brokers dealing with claims against a variety of professional clients.
Since joining Beale & Company, Jamie has become a key member of our Professional Indemnity claims handling team, providing an expert claims handling service under a number of delegated authority schemes. He is familiar with working within the ambit of a delegated authority and adheres closely to our core best practice of rapid, proactive claims resolution.
Jamie works with a wide range of professionals in defending claims, including surveyors, architects, solicitors, accountants, brokers and IFA’s. He has a strong working knowledge of the ICAEW, RICS and SRA minimum terms and conditions and his experience and understanding allows him to effectively assist clients in disposing of claims in line with our client’s complaints procedures and where appropriate, the relevant Pre-Action Protocol. Jamie regularly works in tandem with clients in responding to complaints that have been submitted to their professional bodies or regulators as well as to ombudsman services.
Jamie advises Insurer clients on potential policy coverage issues, offering practical and commercial solutions to any issues that arise.
Jamie also plays a crucial role in producing detailed MI which is tailored to our Insurer client’s requirements, SLA’s and KPI’s.
