Beale & Co enhances professional indemnity team with new Partner hire

Beale & Co are pleased to be further strengthening their professional indemnity team with the hire of Partner Jon Hyde, who was formerly at DWF.

Jon specialises in defending claims against solicitors, accountants, experts and IFAs, as well as regulatory and disciplinary matters. He also advises on pure coverage disputes and professional insurance minimum terms.

Jon, who has been ranked in the last few years’ Legal 500 for Professional Negligence and Professional Discipline, will work closely alongside the team in London and Bristol to build on the Firm’s growing professional indemnity practice for solicitors, accountants and IFAs. Jon joins after his starting date last year was postponed due to an unexpected cancer diagnosis, for which he is receiving treatment whilst he works.

This appointment follows the recruitment of partner and professional indemnity lawyer Martin Jensen, and partner and D&O specialist Ross Baker, earlier this year.
