Judicial Council adopts Personal Injuries Guidelines

Marking the culmination of a lengthy process – and in the most significant development in the area of the quantification of damages in personal injuries claims since the publication of the original Book of Quantum in 2004 – the Judicial Council met on 6 March 2021 and by majority formally adopted the ‘Personal Injuries Guidelines’ (the “Guidelines”) as prepared by the Personal Injuries Guidelines Committee.
