Sophia is a Senior Associate in the London office and is a construction lawyer, specialising in the management and resolution of disputes arising out of construction, energy and infrastructure projects.
Sophia has represented owners and contractors in disputes concerning a number of complex, high value projects around the world, with particular focus on oil, gas, power, offshore and shipbuilding projects.
Sophia’s experience comprises acting under a variety of dispute resolution mechanisms including arbitration, courts, adjudication and DABs/DRBs in the UK, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. She also has experience of a number of ADR procedures including mediation, conciliation and early neutral evaluation.
Prior to joining Beale & Co trained and worked at leading international law firm for ten years with two of those years spent working in the Athens office working closely with ship owners, charterers and P&I Clubs.
