Nic Pegg

Partner

Bristol

Nic is a Partner in the professional negligence team in our Bristol office, specialising in defending complex multi-party claims against construction professionals including architects, consultants, contractors, engineers and surveyors. Nic also regularly advises a wide range of Insurer clients on matters of policy coverage.

Nic is experienced in handling matters of all sizes through the dispute resolution process, ranging from a few hundred pounds to multi-million pounds. Nic also has significant experience of adjudication, arbitration, and mediation as an alternative means of dispute resolution.

Before joining Beale and Company, Nic worked in the in-house legal department of a leading international engineering consultancy. His cross-jurisdictional work included drafting and negotiating bespoke and standard form professional appointments, collateral warranties, third party agreements, partnering agreements, joint ventures and novations, as well as dealing with disputes. As a result, Nic has a strong understanding of the importance of strategic commercial advice for both Insured and Insurer clients.

Nic regularly writes and speaks on claims against professionals.
