Ellie Hunter

Ellie trained with Beale & Co, qualifying in March 2022. Ellie is in the Contracts & Projects Advisory Team and advises on non-contentious and projects advisory work in the UK and internationally for a wide range of construction professionals (including architects, project managers and engineers) across a variety of sectors.

Ellie has experience drafting, advising on, and negotiating, industry standard forms including NEC, JCT, RIBA and ACA as well as bespoke professional appointments and ancillary documents. She also has experience with drafting standard form documents, including precedent terms and conditions and other types of agreement and/or policy documentation (including in relation to the BSA).

In Ellie’s previous role in the Corporate & Commercial Team, she gained a variety of experience including advising in relation to commercial contracts, standard terms and conditions of business, software development agreements and IP licensing agreements, procurement matters, commercial leasehold matters and corporate transactions.

During her training contract, Ellie spent six months on secondment to a leading engineering professional services firm advising on a full range of corporate matters and a further six months on secondment to a leading design, engineering and project management consultancy where she assisted with advising on building contracts, professional appointments, and other ancillary project documents.
