Calls have been made to suspend statutes of limitations, but to date no plans have been announced to introduce same.
In this article, Martin Browne and Sean O’Halloran review the current laws in relation to statutes of limitations, the matters that likely arise as a result of the ongoing lockdown, and the particular considerations that apply in relation to personal injuries litigation owing to the operation of PIAB.
