CLC COVID-19 Task Force: Contractual / Commercial Workstream
May 2020The Construction Leadership Council’s Government supported COVID-19 Contractual Best Practice guidance has been published today, alongside a Cabinet office publication, the COVID-19 Responsible Contract Behaviour Note.
Andrew Croft, Senior Associate at Beale & Co, has been part of the working group responsible for the drafting of this guidance and as a Firm we are proud to have been able to help make such a key contribution to the industry.
The CLC Guidance is government backed and emphasises the importance of properly administrating construction contracts to reflect COVID-19 in a manner which is fair and reasonable and with the aim of supporting the supply chain.
These publications will be a highly useful resource for the industry in seeking to address COVID-19 contractually.
