The Insurance Act 2015 – what it means for you as an insured
August 2016The Insurance Act 2015 (“the Act”) finally came into force on 12 August 2016. The Act represents the biggest change in English insurance law for over a century and will apply to insurance and reinsurance contracts governed by the laws of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland which are entered into on or after 12 August 2016.
