Judge Dismisses Claim of Professional Indemnity

A recent decision1 by Birmingham J. dismissed a claim by a client against her solicitors that she was misled when buying two investment properties for some €2 million.

Allegations of professional negligence were dismissed by the judge who held that the client was fully aware of the type of transaction she was entering into which amounted to nothing more than a bad investment.
