Government Construction Strategy 2011 – Where Are We Now?

In May 2011 the UK government published its Construction Strategy. In the two years since its publication, it has had a significant effect on the construction industry, as shown by the increased adoption of BIM, project bank accounts and collaborative procurement models. Here we set out some of the key recommendations of the Construction Strategy and identify the steps that have been taken to put them in place, any related developments in the industry and any insurance issues associated with those recommendations.
