International Networks

We have close connections with three legal networks of law firms which operate in Europe, Africa and across the globe.

Worldwide: we are the UK, Ireland and UAE member law firm for the legal network, Global Insurance Law Connect (GILC) – a diverse global network of boutique firms with insurance expertise. Each member is embedded into its own insurance market and has deep, local knowledge which can assist our clients when solving complex, cross-border legal challenges. The network focuses purely on insurance law, advising on the business of taking risks around the world and helping our clients to reduce the time and money they spend on managing risk.

Europe: we are a founding member of the Lexicom legal network, a network of independent commercial law firms across Europe offering business clients access to high quality legal services in multiple European jurisdictions. The network comprises law firms in a number of European countries, including: the UK, Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Cyprus and Ukraine.

Africa: we have a close “best friends” relationship with law firms in the Africa Legal Network (ALN). The ALN is the largest grouping of its kind in Africa, with close working relationships across its members and an established network across the continent comprising firms in Algeria, Botswana, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
