BEALE & CO BRISTOL OFFICE TEAMS UP WITH THE AVON NEEDS TREES PROGRAMME

In July member of the firms Bristol office teamed up with the Avon Needs Trees Programme which helps with the protection of 34 acres in the Marden Valley between Chippenham and Calne.

The team helped with various tasks at their Hazeland site including collecting water from bowsers, weeding and mattocking, and mulching the base of young saplings to protect and promote sustained growth.

The site is run by volunteers and the day was led by John Barnes who also kindly gave us a tour of the site and the adjoining ancient woodland. Thank you John for welcoming us. We really enjoyed helping with the restoration of this beautiful landscape.
