Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims affect all types of businesses and organisations. All our team has experience in providing coverage advice and dealing with disputes under these policies for both Irish and London market insurers.

We work closely with insureds in the conduct of a claim and our proactive approach enables us to ensure the best result is achieved for both the insured and insurers. We have the capacity and experience to work with insureds from initial notification right through to ultimate resolution. We are very familiar with the manner in which the Injuries Board deals with claims. The cost, uncertainty and potentially negative reputational consequences of litigation for an insured can add to the importance of seeking to settle appropriate disputes early. There are also, however, claims which should be aggressively defended and it is a product of the relationships that we have developed with our insurer and insured clients that we are trusted to do so.
We have considerable experience in dealing with EL and PL cases across a broad range of business sectors. We work with insureds in a proactive way not just to ensure that claims are dealt with in an appropriate and efficient manner, but also to assist and advise in relation to risk management so as to reduce the number of future claims.
