Stephen Jones

Stephen has experience of both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
He advises insurers, contractors, construction professionals (including engineers, architects and quantity surveyors) and developers in respect of national and international construction related disputes.
He also advises on non-contentious matters relating to building contracts (including bespoke amendments), professional appointments, collateral warranties and novation agreements. His experience includes acting for an international insurance broker in respect of its contract review service for architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, contractors and sub-contractors.
Prior to joining Beale & Co Stephen spent a period of time seconded to the London based Professional and Financial Lines Claims team of an international insurance company. His work involved considering policy response and coverage issues as well as managing claims against (amongst others) architects, engineers, design and build contractors, surveyors, valuers, charity trustees and directors and officers of both private and public limited companies.
Stephen has also practised as a construction lawyer in some of the leading international construction practices in London.
Stephen is a member of the Society of Construction Law.
