After qualifying in Australia, Flavia worked in Melbourne and then joined an international insurance law firm in London in 2015 where she specialised in energy, engineering, marine and construction.
She also spent time seconded in-house to an international insurer where she gained valuable in-house experience assisting the Commercial Lines claims team.
Flavia has experience in the insurance and energy sector dealing with both upstream and downstream, including control of well and construction issues, power generation and machinery breakdown, and business interruption. She acts for insurers and contractors advising on coverage, defence and recoveries as well as contractual disputes on cases in the United Kingdom and overseas, often involving multi-jurisdictional aspects.
