Tristan has over 10 years of experience defending liability claims arising in the construction industry including against contractors, engineers (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process engineers), building surveyors, project managers, architects, and property developers both in the UK and in Australia. He also has experience acting in contested policy disputes and fee disputes.

This work has included advising on policy coverage in a number of policy classes, liability and quantum and the most appropriate strategies for resolving claims against construction professionals often in complex, high-value and multi-party disputes.

Tristan's notable cases include:
