Chris is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Construction, Engineering & Infrastructure team in London. He specialises in contentious matters and predominately acts for construction professionals and their professional indemnity insurers.

He has extensive experience in acting for (and defending claims against) all types of engineers, architects, surveyors and other consultants involved in construction projects (including specialist designers and those undertaking project management/inspection, contract administration, and other on-site roles). He also regularly advises on consultant fee recoveries, professional conduct/disciplinary matters and construction insurance policy coverage. 

Chris advises on disputes across all types of projects, ranging from residential to high value commercial and public schemes, with a recent focus on large scale engineering and infrastructure projects. He is regularly involved in complex multi-party claims under the Pre-action Protocol for Construction & Engineering Disputes and within the Technology & Construction Court. He is very experienced in ADR (especially mediation), as well as acting for clients in construction adjudications. 

He has also acted for several large commercial infrastructure and utilities clients in respect of construction or environmental related disputes that involve complicated technical issues. 

Chris is a member of the Society of Construction Law.
