She is a New York qualified attorney and has significant experience in the Middle East having practiced here for over 10 years. Sadaff recently represented an operator in a dispute involving a desalination plant in Oman under the DIFC-LCIA Rules.

Sadaff is well versed with the Middle East and particularly the UAE laws and customs having practiced with local and international firms in the UAE. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in house with a Saudi owned contractor having a presence across the UAE and KSA managing their arbitration and litigation portfolio (which extended to over 150 disputes in total). She also advised on a multi-million dollar shareholder dispute and infrastructure projects such as the Ras Al Khaimah Ring Road project.

She has advised on large infrastructure projects such as the Dubai Metro 2020 on issues such as under certification, variations, extension of time and prolongation claims. In addition to project advisory, her non-contentious experience includes drafting construction contracts modelled on FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts for developers, contractors and subcontractors.

She also sits as arbitrator and has been appointed by the Dubai International Arbitration Centre on real estate and construction disputes. Sadaff is active in the construction and arbitration community. She is a member of the CIArb Middle East Branch Committee, is an Assistant Editor for the Africa region with the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and regularly contributes to the blog. She was recently appointed as a buddy on the Young ICCA Mentorship programme. Sadaff regularly speaks at conferences, delivers training sessions and has published articles on construction and international arbitration.
