We are delighted to announce the promotion of three of our senior associates to the position of Partner from 1 July 2016. James Vernon, Ian Masser and Nathan Modell all began their legal careers as trainees with Beale & Company, qualifying as disputes lawyers within the firms Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure team. Their promotions bring the total number of partners in the firm to 23.

The new partners are:

James Vernon
James qualified in 2005 as a disputes lawyer in our Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure group. He advises civil engineering and building contractors and design team professionals and their insurers in relation to a wide range of construction and engineering disputes. He is also very experienced in handling Health and Safety matters and regularly gives seminars and workshops on a number of topics of interest to a wide range of parties in the construction and engineering industry.

Ian Masser
Ian qualified in 2007 and specialises in disputes arising out of construction projects. His clients include both construction professionals and contractors, and their professional indemnity insurers, as well as employers. His practice covers all forms of dispute resolution and includes advising clients on insurance coverage issues.

Nathan Modell
Nathan qualified in 2007 and specialises in contentious construction matters. He has advises a wide range of clients including architects, engineers, contractors, , professional indemnity insurers, as well as other commercial organisations and professional practices.
