Our Corporate team specialises in acting for clients in the construction, technology and financial advisor sectors and is able to assist with: mergers and acquisitions; group restructuring; disposal of non-core business streams; distressed purchases; due diligence; incorporation of companies and LLPs; shareholders’ agreements; LLP agreements; joint ventures and strategic alliances; management buy-outs and buy-ins; and private equity, corporate and project finance. The team uses the latest technology to project manage and streamline transactions, using our in-house deal hub, online due diligence platform and AI development.

Recent transactions across our sectors include:

  • Advising international engineer Ramboll on its acquisition of rail signal consultant DEG Signal.
  • Acting on the sale of MFD, specialist security consultants, to Thornton Tomasetti, the international engineering consultancy behind the new US Embassy in London.
  • Advising the owners of aircraft engineers Flyertech and Aerstream on their sale to LSE listed Gama Aviation.
  • Acting for drainage contractor Flowline on its acquisition of Clearaway Drainage Services and private equity investment by the Business Growth Fund (BGF).
  • Advising Reach plc (formerly Trinity Mirror) on the sale of The Communicator Corporation Limited, an email marketing business, to US cloud services provider J2 Global.
