We have been involved in some of the leading construction-related professional indemnity disputes and litigation of recent years including Mirant -v- Ove Arup, a delay and disruption claim of in excess of US$80m which was successfully defended with costs.
Our experience encompasses all forms of dispute resolution including:
- Adjudications under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 where the need to comply with tight time limits is paramount and we have the resources to assemble experienced teams at short notice;
- Mediations/conciliations;
- Arbitrations;
- Litigation. We conduct litigation in all the principal English and Irish courts and are particularly experienced in the procedures of the specialist Technology and Construction Court.
