Construction Act Amendments

The Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Bill had its first debate in the House of Lords on the Wednesday 17 December. The Committee stage through the House of Lords is due to begin on 19 January.The Bill is not expected to be enacted however until the end of 2009 and it is thought that it will only affect contracts entered into after that date.
